Explore Nerang National Park

Escape from the bustle of Main Beach into the cool, peaceful rainforest at the National Park and the Nerang State Forest, just a short drive from Carrington Court Gold Coast family holiday accommodation.
A popular retreat with both locals and visitors, the reserve offers a change of pace from the sparkling waves, sophisticated shopping and vibrant nightlife further inland, encompassing several hectares of lush green space ideal for family picnics, bird watching and bushwalking.
Several hiking, biking and horse riding tracks meander across the reserve, through open forests of stringybark, blue gum and grey gum, as well as stretches of denser dry rainforest. As you explore, keep your eyes open for short beaked echidnas, sleepy koalas enjoying the shade of the eucalypt forest, rare snakes and glossy black cockatiels among the casuarina groves. Don’t forget your binoculars!
